Daekyo Partners with the British Council as an Official IELTS Partner, Expands Computer-Based Test Center Operations
Daekyo Announces Full-Scale Operation of IELTS Computer-Based Test Centers in Partnership with the British Council
Daekyo announced that it has entered into an official partnership with the British Council for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) and has officially begun operating IELTS computer-based test centers in the Boramae and Gangnam areas.
In March, Daekyo signed agreements with the British Council to establish an IELTS Registration Center and a Partner Testing Point (PTP) test center. In April, it officially opened its IELTS test centers, creating a comprehensive system that supports both IELTS test registration and computer-based test administration.
Currently, Daekyo operates two IELTS computer-based test centers in Boramae and Gangnam. Equipped with modern testing facilities and a reliable operational system, the centers are designed to enhance convenience for test takers. In line with the growing global shift toward computer-based IELTS testing, Daekyo plans to gradually expand its test center network to major regions across the country.
Building on this partnership, Daekyo also aims to strengthen its foreign language assessment business. Leveraging its experience in administering internationally recognized language proficiency tests such as HSK and IELTS, the company intends to further enhance its expertise and competitiveness in language assessment services.
The two organizations plan to continue their collaboration across various areas, including joint IELTS marketing initiatives, expanded candidate support services, and cooperation in the administration of IELTS for UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI).
A Daekyo representative stated, “By combining the British Council’s global expertise in English language assessment with Daekyo’s extensive experience in education and test administration, we will provide test takers with a stable and convenient testing environment. We will continue to strengthen our capabilities in delivering world-class foreign language assessment services.”
