World Youth & Culture Foundation was proposed by Chairman Kang Young-joong on September 12, 2007. The foundation seeks to support the sports activities of young people worldwide (focusing on developing countries) and operate scholarship programs in education, culture, and arts. Message from Young Joong Kang
I have a dream. The world where all the young people of the world can enjoy the fundamental rights to education, regardless of their circumstances. Sports activities during the adolescent years teach young people valuable attributes such as the spirit of teamwork and social skills. Playing sport can also contribute to physical and mental well-being for young people.Sport activities that can diverge youth’s passion well can be utilized as the effective educational medium for the youth all over the world Youths are our future! You cannot expect to see brighter future without providing the right education for them.
I will exert a conscientious effort for creating the environment where more and more young people could have an opportunity to be grown up as the global leader who can make the better world.
