Daekyo Participates in Education Support Program for Single-Parent Families with Lotte Scholarship Foundation… “Providing Noonnoppi Learning Programs”
Daekyo announced that it will participate in an education support program for single-parent families led by the Lotte Scholarship Foundation, providing its Noonnoppi learning programs to children from low-income single-parent households across the country.
The beneficiaries of the program include 223 children from low-income single-parent families nationwide, ranging from early childhood to elementary, middle, and high school students. The program will run for nine months until December.
This initiative aims to reduce the educational gap for children from single-parent families whose learning opportunities are limited due to economic and environmental constraints, while helping improve basic academic achievement and build a foundation for self-directed learning.
Daekyo will provide its Noonnoppi learning programs in core subjects such as Korean, mathematics, English, social studies, and science, along with digital learning content to enhance learning effectiveness. It will also offer pre-learning counseling and individualized learning design based on step-by-step assessments, supporting the strengthening of core competencies and the development of self-directed study habits.
In addition, Daekyo will utilize its nationwide offline learning network to improve access to education. Students can choose between home-visit learning or classes at nearby Noonnoppi Learning Centers, helping ensure continuity in learning and contributing to reducing regional educational disparities.
The program also includes a systematic management system featuring achievement tracking, attendance monitoring, and learning feedback, enabling students to build stable learning habits and accumulate meaningful academic achievement beyond short-term support.
A Daekyo representative stated, “It is meaningful to be part of a program that helps children with limited educational opportunities grow in a stable environment. We will continue to expand our support for educationally vulnerable groups so that more children can benefit from learning opportunities.”
