The 28th Eye Level Children’s Literature Award
Dr. Young Joong Kang (chairman of Daekyo Group, founder and chairman of the World Youth and Culture Foundation) attended the 28th Eye Level Children’s Literature Award which was held at Eye Level Hall on December 4.
Daekyo Culture Foundation established this award for the development of children’s literature, the root and hope of Korean literature. It is the largest children’s literature competition in Korea and it has been held annually since 1991.
The 28th Eye Level Children's Literature Award was divided into the Children's Literature Award category, the Children's Creative Poem category, the Youth Literature Award category and the Global category. A total of 87 people were honored.
The winner of the Grand prize for Children's Literature Award will be awarded 15 million won, and will be given an opportunity to publish a book, and the excellence prize can be published through consultation.
Starting this year, the winner of the "Youth Literature Award", which was newly established for middle and high school students, was awarded the Minister of Culture and Sports and Tourism Award. The winner of the grand prize in the children's Poem Literature was awarded the Ministry of Education Award.
In addition, the "Global literary" contested 2 types of writing, a picture diary and writing. In this category, Hannah Chen from China won the grand prize as the picture diary category, and Chau Yu Yiu Zabrina from Hong Kong won the grand prize in writing category.
