The World Youth & Culture Foundation Opens 2023 Daekyo International Sculpture Symposium exhibition

The World Youth & Culture Foundation announced on the 11th that it will hold an exhibition of the 2023 Daekyo International Sculpture Symposium at The Seouliteum located in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, until the 16th of this month. Daekyo International Sculpture Symposium is a culture and arts sponsorship project organized by Young-joong Kang, chairman of the World Youth & Culture Foundation, to discover new artists in the sculpture field since 2000. A total of 12 artists, including those invited from Turkiye and China, were selected as participating artists this year. A total of 24 artists, including assistant sculptors, created their works using various materials at Chung-Ang University's Da Vinci Campus for 18 nights last month. The finished works will be displayed at Hall 3 at the Seouliteum. It is open to public for free of charge. A scholarship will be awarded to all participate artists and special scholarships will be awarded to artists who have submitted outstanding works. And also an additional scholarship will be awarded to assistants who have assisted in the creative activities of participating artists.
