The 28th Eye Level Educational award ceremony

Dr. Kang, Young Joong (chairman of Daekyo Group, founder and chairman of the World Youth and Culture Foundation) attended the 28th Eye Level Education Award which was held at Eye Level Hall on Nov 28 at Eye Level Hall.

Daekyo Culture Foundation created this award in 1992 based corporate philosophy “learning by teaching” to identify teachers who are working hard with sense of duty for the education of children at the frontline.

The ceremony contains four different categories which are ‘Primary school’, ‘Middle school’, ‘Nursery education’ and ‘special and lifelong education’ and each sector awarded one teacher.

Winners in each category demonstrated the importance and positive impact of education by sharing their thoughts and experience including developing school management, contributing to humanistic education, promoting nursery education, arranging condition to develop artistic ability for student with developmental disorder.

A plaque and prize money of 15,000,000 KRW were awarded to 4 winners and 5,000,000 worth of education material were presented to the winners’ school and organization.
