Daekyo Chorus Korea 2019

Dr Kang, Young Joong (chairman of Daekyo Group, founder and chairman of the World Youth and Culture Foundation) attended Daekyo Chorus Korea 2019 final which was held at Eye Level Traumwelt on October 5.

Daekyo Chorus Korea, which is the largest children choir festival in the nation, was held for the 8th time this year, hosted by Daekyo Culture Foundation, organized by Daekyo and sponsored by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Total 6 teams advanced to the finals after internet live evaluation and performed beautiful and fantastic chorus.

In this year’s competition, special stage, show choir and collaboration stage that the group of two teams and one expert had brought together, was set upped. All the participants demonstrated their usual level of ability.

The Grand Prize was given to Bupyeong District Junior Chorus, who showed outstanding performance with beautiful harmony. The winner was awarded with the Education Minister Prize and prize money of 6,000,000 KRW.

Gwangju CBS Junior Chrous was awarded the Gold Prize and the Silver Prize was given to Anyang Jungang Elementary School, Youngduk Elementary School and Jeongpyeong Elementary School chorus.
