Chairman Kang, Young-joong of World Youth Culture Foundation Contributes $25,000 to BWF

The 2009 New Zealand Open Grand Prix will be held in Auckland from July 28th to August 1st 2009.

For the event the World Youth Culture Foundation received a request from the Organizing Committee for financial support, saying that they have some financial difficulties hosting the 2009 New Zealand Open. After a review, a decision was made to extend a support of $25,000 for New Zealand Open because a new President for Oceania Continent has been newly elected and out of expectation that this money could serve as a firm foundation for further development of badminton in Oceanian Continent. Chairman Kang designated the money to be used as support for New Zealand Open.
