Daekyo Group Holds “Beautiful Companionship 2026” Event in Celebration of Teachers’ Day
Daekyo Group announced on the 15th that it hosted the “Beautiful Companionship 2026” event, inviting outstanding teachers from Daekyo, Daekyo EduCamp, and Daekyo Newife in celebration of Teachers’ Day.
“Beautiful Companionship” is Daekyo Group’s signature event, held annually since 2014 to express gratitude and respect for teachers who have dedicated themselves to supporting learners’ growth in educational settings. This year, in particular, the event was expanded and enhanced to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Daekyo’s founding.
The event took place on May 14 at Seoul Dragon City Hotel and was attended by a total of 257 educators, including teachers from educational programs such as Noonopi, Soluny, and Chaihong, as well as early childhood education instructors and senior education specialists. Educators working across a wide range of fields?from early childhood to senior education?gathered to share experiences and connect with one another.
During the first session, Daekyo CEO Kang Ho-jun delivered a welcome address, followed by a carnation presentation ceremony. Kang Young-joong, Honorary Chairman and founder of Daekyo Group, also attended and joined the teachers in reflecting on the company’s 50-year journey and educational philosophy.
The second session featured the 2nd Bongam Education Award Ceremony, which recognized teachers who have put educational values into practice and inspired growth and positive change in their learners.
This year’s Bongam Education Award was jointly presented to Lee Myung-sook, a Noonopi teacher who has supported the long-term development of students with ADHD and dyslexia while building deep trust with them, and Park Ji-hoon, a TnTn teacher who has promoted educational expertise and a culture of collaboration through lesson research, content development, and the sharing of professional know-how.
In addition to congratulatory performances, various networking and engagement programs, including the “Daekyo Golden Bell” quiz event, were held, providing participants with meaningful opportunities to encourage and empathize with one another.
A Daekyo Group representative stated, “The past 50 years of Daekyo have been built on the dedication of teachers who have supported learners’ growth in educational settings across the country. We will continue to support teachers in taking pride in their profession and growing as educational experts, while fostering a culture that respects and values the work being done in the field.”
