Daekyo Newif Plus, a senior lifestyle channel of Daekyo, announced on the 8th that it is launching a campaign titled “Adding a New Me,” aimed at supporting seniors in embracing new challenges and leading more self-directed lives.

The campaign was designed to highlight seniors not as passive recipients of care, but as active individuals who pursue personal growth and change. It is part of a year-long initiative marking Daekyo’s 50th anniversary, expanding its lifelong education philosophy?centered on learning and growth across all life stages?to include the senior generation. The goal is to promote positive changes in seniors’ daily lives and present new possibilities for aging.

The campaign video focuses on new beginnings defined by “oneself,” rather than roles such as parent or family member. It conveys the message of seniors regaining vitality through small everyday changes and challenges, and actively designing their own lives.

In addition, a viewer participation event will be held until the 26th through the YouTube and Instagram channels of Daekyo Newif Plus. Participants are invited to leave comments about “what they would like to start anew.” Winners will be selected by lottery to receive prizes such as department store gift cards and health-related products, with more details available on the Daekyo Newif Plus website.

A Daekyo representative said, “To mark our 50th anniversary, this campaign was planned to extend the value of growth accumulated through education to the senior generation. We will continue to introduce differentiated content and programs that support seniors in designing their own lives and taking on new challenges.”

Meanwhile, Daekyo Newif Plus is a senior lifestyle channel focused on brain health content, offering programs such as “Youth School” and “Brain Talk,” and providing content related to health, hobbies, and self-development for seniors.
