Daekyo Newif Officially Launches “Senior Integrated Care Service” Tailored to Community-Based Integrated Care
Daekyo Newif announced on the 10th that it will launch a home-visit senior care model, the “Senior Integrated Care (Cognitive + Physical) Service,” in line with the policy direction of community-based integrated care.
The “Senior Integrated Care Service” is a one-on-one, home-visit program that combines cognitive enhancement training with physical activities. It is designed to help seniors actively participate in their daily lives, experience a sense of achievement, and prevent frailty. In addition, professional instructors from Daekyo Newif visit users’ homes to provide emotional stability and help maintain regular daily routines.
In particular, the program aligns with the core direction of community-based integrated care, focusing on frailty prevention and lifestyle-oriented care. It is characterized by its ability to help prevent declines in daily functioning among seniors by maintaining cognitive abilities and strengthening physical activity.
The program provides structured care using Daekyo Newif’s proprietary materials, such as brain training kits and Silver Fit training workbooks. It is conducted once a week for 60 minutes per session (30 minutes for cognitive training and 30 minutes for physical activity).
With this launch, Daekyo Newif plans to strengthen its collaboration with integrated care initiatives across local governments nationwide. It also aims to further refine customized integrated care models tailored to the characteristics of each municipality, based on actual operational data such as user participation rates, retention rates, and caregiver satisfaction.
A Daekyo Newif representative stated, “The ‘Senior Integrated Care Service’ goes beyond simple home-visit care and serves as a preventive model that helps seniors maintain balance in their lives within the community. Through collaboration with local governments, we will strive to establish integrated care as a practical and effective model in the field.”
Meanwhile, Daekyo Newif is currently working with multiple local governments across the country to operate home-visit cognitive, emotional, and physical care programs for seniors in the pre-dementia stage and those with mild cognitive impairment.
