Definition’s “Problem G” Wins Grand Prize at the 2025 K-Edutech Contest
Daekyo Group’s AI edutech platform company Definition announced that its AI-powered question generation service, Problem G, has won the Grand Prize in the Teaching and Learning Innovation category at the 2025 K-Edutech Contest.
The 2025 K-Edutech Contest is the largest event in the edtech sector in Korea, hosted by the Ministry of Education, organized by the Korea Digital Education Association, and sponsored by the Korea Education and Research Information Service (KERIS). The contest recognizes companies that contribute to solving pressing educational issues, such as strengthening core competencies of future talent and reducing the administrative workload of teachers.
At the contest, Problem G was recognized for: The stability and reliability of the company behind the service, The product innovation that minimizes copyright concerns through AI-generated questions specifically tailored for the Korean language subject, and Its high utility in public education, including easing teachers’ burden in content creation and supporting personalized learning for students.
Notably, at the event, Definition unveiled the newly developed English subject version of Problem G for the first time. Attendees?including teachers and students?were able to experience the service hands-on, demonstrating the potential for expansion beyond Korean language into other subjects.
A Definition representative stated, “This award is highly meaningful as it validates Problem G as a practical edtech service for use in public education,” and added, “Going forward, we will continue expanding Problem G to cover all subjects?including the newly introduced English version?to support teachers in reducing lesson prep time and help students engage in more self-directed learning.”
Problem G is an edtech service powered by generative AI that creates reading passages, questions, and full test papers in Korean and English. Teachers can input their own text prompts to generate similar passages and create various types of questions, offering powerful support in educational content development.
