Tuni Tuni Launches 'Toto Chouchou,' an Integrated Ballet and Language Development Program for Young Children
Tuni Tuni, the early childhood physical play brand under the Daekyo Group, announced on the 7th the launch of “Toto Chouchou”, a new integrated growth ballet program designed to support both physical development and language acquisition in young children.
Toto Chouchou is an innovative program that combines ballet movements with Korean and English language learning. It aims to enhance children’s balance, expressive abilities, and language skills simultaneously.
With the concept “Learn ballet through play, acquire language naturally,” the program uses Korean and English flashcards in conjunction with ballet exercises to promote both cognitive development and physical coordination.
The curriculum is structured into three stages based on age and developmental level:
Stage 1: Toto Bebe (Ages 3?4)
A parent-child class where children follow Korean word cards and ballet movements, helping to build flexibility, balance, and emotional bonding with their parents.
Stage 2: Toto Creche (Ages 5?6)
A storytelling-based ballet class that encourages children to express various themes through movement while naturally acquiring the initial sounds of English phonics (Phonics Initial Sound).
Stage 3: Toto Ecole (Ages 7?8)
A program that combines phonics learning?understanding the relationship between English spelling and sound?with classical ballet techniques. Over 12 weeks, students experience traditional ballet repertoires, building both a sense of achievement and creativity.
Toto Chouchou is currently offered at Tuni Tuni PLUS directly operated centers and major apartment community centers. The brand plans to expand to cultural centers and community channels nationwide, aiming to become Korea’s leading kids’ ballet program.
A Tuni Tuni representative stated, “Interest in ballet programs that help with posture correction and creativity has been growing among parents. Based on our proven expertise in physical play education, we developed Toto Chouchou so children can enjoy learning ballet and language together in a fun way. We hope for your continued interest and support.”
Meanwhile, Tuni Tuni is expanding its early childhood physical education business both domestically and internationally, with operations in Southeast Asia and the U.S. It continues to diversify its offerings by developing integrated content like Toto Chouchou and its sensory play brand OgamOli.
