Daekyo Newif Signs MOU with Hana Insurance for Early Dementia Management
Daekyo Newif, a senior life solution company, announced on the 4th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Hana Insurance to provide in-home cognitive education services for individuals with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI), the early stage of dementia.
Through this agreement, policyholders of Hana Insurance’s “Non-dividend Hana The Next Dementia Care Insurance” who are diagnosed with MCI and have selected the cognitive education rider, will be eligible to receive Daekyo Newif’s in-home cognitive and emotional care services (brain training).
The “Non-dividend Hana The Next Dementia Care Insurance” goes beyond simple insurance payouts and incorporates non-pharmacological cognitive enhancement models aimed at improving customers’ quality of life. The in-home cognitive education provided by Daekyo Newif offers personalized programs to support early intervention and prevention at the MCI stage.
Daekyo Newif’s certified instructors will visit the client’s home once a week for a total of 48 sessions over 12 months. The program is designed to help maintain and improve cognitive functions while also promoting emotional well-being.
A Daekyo Newif representative stated, “As the aging population continues to grow, the need for preventive cognitive care is increasing. We will do our best to ensure that Daekyo Newif’s professional and trusted in-home cognitive education contributes to a healthy and fulfilling later life.”
A Hana Insurance spokesperson added, “We are pleased to offer a more practical cognitive care program through our newly launched dementia care insurance. We will continue expanding insurance partnerships that enhance quality of life.”
Meanwhile, Daekyo Newif collaborates with local governments and affiliated institutions across the country to provide both in-home and group cognitive care programs for seniors, and is leading the senior care market through continuous content development and effectiveness verification.
