2nd Daekyo Eye Level Int’l College Student Sculpture Symposium

Daekyo Culture Foundation had been hosted sculpture symposium annually from year 2000 till 2011, targeting university students and graduate school student in Korea.

From 2012, Daekyo Culture Foundation extended scope of symposium to internationally and it is designed to encourage the will of creation for all the students in the world.

In this year’s international sculpture symposium, 60 students from both national and international universities applied and 6 domestic students and 5 international students (China, Japan, Italia, Bulgaria and Belarus) were selected after final screening.

These selected students stayed in Chungang University Anseong Campus for 15 days and shared information on the stream of each country’s sculpt and one’s view of sculp.

Dr. Kang Young Joong, Chairman of Daekyo Culture Foundation said, “I hope this symposium will be a place for festival that shows creative thinking and special personality of world art students and serve as a momentum to discover talents.”
