Multicultural education is the base for globalization and necessity for nurturing global talents.

Daekyo, which is an educational company, is putting its effort to provide various contribution activities to take full social responsibility

Among these activities, publishing ‘Daekyo children education & Culture book series’ is one of the core businesses to contribute in the education of children and developing child culture. Besides this, including provide learning for free service to the children of multicultural family, Daekyo is extending the area of multicultural family supporting business and this also is part of social contribution activities who fulfill ‘Noonnoppi Love, Noonnoppi education’ which is Daekyo’s Core value.

While I have been concerned on business regarding multicultural family, I felt so unfortunate that there were no such special guidelines which can be guide on our multicultural generation but I am so pleased to publish series of books related to multicultural education by Daekyo Child Scholarship books.

I have rethought on multicultural education. Until now, it has been highly influenced by prejudices that multicultural education is a subject that our society should accept or help. However, multi culture stands on the basis of globalization and diversity of our society.

Therefore, to our children who will live in multicultural society, education related to multi culture is the necessity for nurturing global talents and pillar for globalization.

Each books of this series has its own special contents and meaning but it also harmonize each other well. Rather than seeing multi cultural as some social charge or problem, it focus on social diversity and talks about multi cultural through a work of art and children’s song of countries around the world.

It tells a story from our history and it suggests a new angle. Also it persuades that globalization should start from moral capability. When people put the outcomes from long study into a text, I believe it becomes beautiful crystal which is competent enough to compete against any other work of arts.
