President Kang Meets With Young Chinese Leaders
Presideng Kang, Young-joong of Korea Scout Association welcomed one hundred young Chinese leaders to Korea during a welcome dinner hosted on October 14, 2010.
The group’s visit to Korea is part of the Korea-China Youth Special Exchange Program, which was launched back in 2004 on mutual agreement between the two countries’ Presidents. The purpose of the program is to strengthen cooperation between the youths of the two countries and increase people-to-people exchange, thereby enhancing mutual trust between the two countries. The dinner was hosted in order to welcome young Chinese leaders who came to Korea for ten days from October 13.
The delegate consists of young Chinese leaders who were selected across the country in many parts of society including various central government departments, local government, private companies, the press and teachers.
