The award ceremony for the 2009 Noonnoppi Children’s Poetry Competition

Chairman Kang, Young-joong participated in an award ceremony for the 2009 Noonnoppi Children’s Poetry Competition on October 30th. The competition had been advertised since last May through various newspapers and magazines, and approximately 11,000 children from 900 schools took part in the competition with over 20,000 poems. Chairman Kang said, “I hope to give our children an opportunity to capture innocence of their childhood through such a competition. By providing them with a chance to make this beautiful and precious moment in their early years, I wish to take this opportunity to give them a whole-character education."
