Chairman Kang, Young Joong Donates USD 65,000 to BWF

The 2008 BWF Super Series Masters Finals were held in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. However, lack of income led to big losses due to some unexpected developments including China's decision not to participate, even though the Badminton Association of Malaysia made its utmost efforts for the competition.

Therefore, in order to express his appreciation to BAM for all its efforts to smoothly organize the Finals, one of BWF's most important competitions, in such hard times, President Kang donated $65,000 to the BWF's President Fund and designated the money to be used to help BAM with its deficits.
