Midas Valley Cheong-pyeong Golf Club Selected as Official Course for Kakao VX’s First 'Friends Screen Quantum (Q)' Golf Tournament

Midas Valley Cheong-pyeong Golf Club (hereinafter "Midas Valley"), operated by Daekyo D&S, announced on the 8th that it has been selected as the official course for Kakao VX’s latest screen golf system tournament, ‘Friends Screen Quantum (Q)’, along with Midas Lake Icheon Golf & Resort (hereinafter "Midas Lake").

The upcoming tournament, "Quantum 9X Open", runs until Friday, June 6, and marks the first-ever official competition using the ‘Friends Screen Quantum (Q)’ system in Korea. A total prize pool worth 50 million KRW (approx. $37,000 USD) will be awarded. Notably, the overall winner across the three designated courses?Midas Valley, Midas Lake, and Seragio GC?will be given the opportunity to tour the world-renowned Pebble Beach Golf Links in the United States.

Midas Valley is a prestigious members-only golf course recognized for its outstanding course quality both domestically and internationally. Since its opening in 2002, it earned a reputation as a premier golf club and was named one of Korea’s “Top 10 Golf Courses” by Seoul Economic Golf Monthly in both 2003 and 2005. It has now made a celebrated return by being selected once again in the members-only category for the 2024-2025 awards.
