Daekyo EduCamp Signs MOU with Youth Foundation to Support Marginalized and Isolated Youth
Daekyo EduCamp announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Youth Foundation to support the social reintegration of marginalized and socially withdrawn youth.
The signing ceremony took place at the Youth Foundation's lecture hall in Jongno-gu, Seoul, with key representatives from both organizations in attendance, including Jeong Dae-young, Head of the Creative Convergence Business Division at Daekyo EduCamp, and Park Joo-hee, Secretary-General of the Youth Foundation.
This agreement aims to provide a stable foundation for the recovery and growth of young people struggling to enter society by offering psychological support, practical training, and independence-building programs.
Both organizations will collaborate on:
* Customized practical training and independence programs for youth
* Psychological support for emotional stability
* Exchange of human and material resources between the two organizations
* Joint campaigns and program planning to drive real change for young people
A Daekyo EduCamp representative stated, “This agreement serves as a stepping stone to help socially disconnected youth reconnect with the world through educational support. By combining Daekyo EduCamp’s experience in field-based education with the expertise of the Youth Foundation, we aim to provide opportunities for young people to stand on their own.”
Meanwhile, in September last year, Daekyo EduCamp launched the Cheongcheong Program to support the social adaptation of borderline-intellectual youth and adolescents, completing a structured and systematic learning lineup tailored to different age groups.
