Daekyo Acquires Global AI Math Education Platform Company 'KnowRe'
Daekyo announced on the 10th that it has acquired 'KnowRe', a global artificial intelligence mathematics education platform company, to promote Edu-Tech services in earnest.
Founded in 2012, KnowRe is a global education company that develops mathematics smart learning solutions and provides educational services. It uses a deep learning mathematics education technology platform to diagnose learning abilities and provide personalized curriculum and contents. Currently, KnowRe's educational technology is being used in more than 200 public schools in the United States.
In particular, KnowRe was selected as the "Top 10 Most Innovative Education Companies in the World" by Fast Company, a U.S. business magazine, in 2014, and was selected as the No. 1 company in the math assistance textbook category by the National Publishing Association in 2016.
"This merger and acquisition will be made to strengthen a customer-oriented and unique service system through advanced smart learning," Daekyo said. By adding "KnowRe's ability to develop smart learning solutions to education platforms such as educational contents, services, and specialized networks of Daekyo, we will lead the education market in the era of the 4th industrial revolution and be reborn as a global education company that is competitive in domestic and global markets."
Meanwhile, Summit Math, which was introduced by Daekyo and KnowRe together, is a digital mathematics product that analyzes learners in real time to solve problems on their own and provides personalized content using artificial intelligence, and the current number of members has increased by more than 300% compared to the second half of 2017.
