2007 All Africa Under 15 Badminton Championships

Young Joong Kang visited South Africa December 1- 5 to participate in ‘All Africa U-15 Badminton Championship 2007 Award Ceremony’ as well as to encourage the staffs to lead a successful hosting and to attend the launching ceremony of Africa Badminton Federation. Recently Dr. Kang has established the ‘Badminton World Foundation’ and supported the championships with 30,000 U.S Dollars.

Dr. Kang pointed out, “For the expansion of badminton in developing countries, activation of badminton in African continent is very important. Since this is a competition event of badminton for the children who will lead our future, I hope to see some continuous support and interest to bring out badminton as a leading sport and an everyday sport in African continent.”
