I would like to express my sincere welcome to all the players and all the other honored guests that came to attend 'The 2008 YONEX Korea Open Badminton Super Series' to represent their countries. On behalf of organization committee and Korean people who love Badminton,

The tournament, which celebrates its 17th anniversary this year, has been growing and became a festival of world's people who love badminton, where talented players are competing with their top skills for attaining fame and strengthening their friendship with each other.
I expect many exciting games to be presented to the viewers than ever before, as players' eagerness keeps on growing to win the opportunity to compete at the 29th Beijing Olympic by winning this tournament.
Dear Players! We, the organization committee, will do our best in managing the procedures of the tournament smoothly and serve you the best for not making your efforts all in vain.
Please, perform your much refined skills at the court to the best of your ability, most satisfactorily, without any injury and frustration.

So, please don’t mind whatever result you get today, but rather, take time to better yourself in terms of new skills and information to strengthening your competency.
